Michael Martin Murphey is the world's most recognized and prominent musical representative of the horse rancher, the cattle rancher, and cowboy.

As a singer Michael has made over 35 albums and sold millions of copies of his numerous hit songs. His achievements in the music industry have let to many prestigious awards including becoming first Singing Cowboy to attain a Certified Gold Album in Cowboy Music since Marty Robbins. But the award for which he is most honored is the Golden Smoky Award, given to him by the Department of Interior for his tireless work in conservation.

He is a lover of the outdoors, with a strong commitment to issues regarding farmers and ranchers, open space, and management of natural resources. Now, Michael is once again leading the way in the green energy movement by becoming the National Spokesperson for Earth-Tech Energy Systems.
